A competitive fleet of ten Cherubs will be racing at Lane Cove each Saturday throughout the 2007-08 season. The fleet varies from teenage crews stepping up from junior classes, right through to a couple of veteran combinations made up of parents of younger sailors.

This year a number of Lane Cove Cherub crews have updated their boats with the aim of racing competitively in the interclub races run by the NSW Cherub Association. The 2007-08 Cherub National Championship will be held at Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron starting on 27 December 2007.
