Canteen Roster
Every Race day the Club’s canteen is open for business from 11:30am through until 7:00pm.
We have a selection of lunches available including pies, sausage rolls and a great selection of drinks and confectionery.
Like everything else at the Club the canteen operates on volunteers and all the profits go to supporting the Club’s activities.
Volunteering in the canteen is a great place to contribute, you meet just about everyone and they all appreciate what you are doing for them AND you don’t even have to know anything about sailing!
We have a number of shifts with the first and last of the day suitable for sailors as well as non sailors. Volunteering for a shift is also a fantastic opportunity for anyone wanting to accrue volunteer hours for the Duke of Edinburgh or similar types of awards.
Morning Shift 1: (Sailors shift) 11:30am until 12:30pm
Morning Shift 2: 12:00pm until 2:00pm
Afternoon Shift: 4:30pm until 7:00pm (RSA* required)
We use signupgenius to manage shifts, check out the on-line roster here and put your name down for a couple of shifts.
*RSA Responsible Service of Alcohol
The Club encourages volunteers to do a Responsible Service of Alcohol course then after completing three shifts in the canteen ask and we will refund your fee.
A number of members have done this course on line https://www.eot.edu.au/online-courses/RSA/ you don’t have to do it all at once and before you know it you have it and you don’t pay till you have passed.
